I think that was more similar to the Planet Sensible design, and also eliminated the risk of humidity wicking through stitching at the bottom from the bag. This modification was very easily workable for a larger style handbag, but probably not possible for any lesser bags I planned to make. Also i decided to surge the cotton sides to help prevent them from unraveling and catching within the bag (a minor problem I had with a Wahmies brand wet bag). Since I terribly lack a machine to do this, I did the zig-zag stitch over the edge of the natural cotton fabric to get a surged effect”.

I am just looking at my planet wise meal bag right now and with that handbag they sewed the PUL plus fabric together at the sides.
